Background on Mr. J.L. Page Senior: Mr J.L. Page has established Bayteck Training Academy in Jan 2000. The company has therefore been in operation for 17 years.

Over the years we have established and expand as follows,

All the property that Bayteck Fire CC and Bayteck Training Academy rent  is rented from Jacky Page Properties (Pty) Ltd.

All the above is currently in 9 provinces as well as Namibia. 

The main activities of the business is training in Fire Fighting, First Aid, Forklift, SHE Rep and OSH Act training. The company also train volunteers in all the above courses so that they can gain knowledge to better their opportunities to be more employable.

Bayteck also manufacture the following locally: First Aid Boxes, the whole range of steel, plastic and fibre glass cabinets. We sell PPE. 

Bayteck Training Academy is presently presenting 37 accredited courses by HWSETA, TETA, SASSETA, Services SETA, EDTP and dangerous goods accredited by Minister of Transport as well as training, fire technician in SAQCC (Accreditation Number: HW592PA05000136).

We are proud to announce that we received our accreditation on a new skill programme title 1475 Technical Apprentice until 2020. 

Certificates will be issued in accordance to the SETA's procedures and verifications.

The company is approved and recognised by the department of labour.

One of our specialties is evacuation of buildings, evacuation drills, implement documentation as per OSH act requirements and the relevant training.

We maintain and upgrade all types of breathing apparatus and masks.

Accordingly to the revised construction act you need to have a safety file for every customer you working for.

We can implement the safety file on a manual as well as electronic version.

Updating of the safety file is also part of our core business.

Bayteck has its own accredited OSH act which is available online for purchasing purposes.

Fire doors needs to be regularly checked and we also have a team to make sure the fire doors is working and comply as regulated and training is provided as per SANS 4075.

Pushbars needs to be installed on fire doors and keep them in working conditions.

Portable fire alarms (super sounds) as well as electronic alarms is also part of our core business and needs to comply with sans 10139.
